Costs

Most items do go for FREE but if you happen to be part of the 1% apologies. You probably already know who you are as you have the same issues with all deliveries and have probably set up special arrangements. (Like the offshore islanders who get things left with a friend on the mainland and then pick them up the next time they come across shopping.) How do you find out if you are one of the rare breed and not sure? Well it normally involves...

1. remote areas of the UK
2. crossing water and/or
3. big bulky pieces of equipment.

If your order does incur extra we will contact you before processing anything. Promise.
But to give you some guidelines... Be patient with me as this can get a little bit jumbled around the edges as we use a number of carriers depending on size, weight, packaging, area etc.

We'll start with the small items and work up.
Accessories and items under 2kg we can divert via the Post Office. This takes a couple of days longer but... no difference in price to absolutely anywhere in the UK (off shore islands, IOM, Channel Islands and Northern Island included).

The largest BBQs and smokers that get delivered on a pallet enlarge the 'remote' areas to include all postcodes in AB, DD, KW, KY, IV, PA, PH...

Channel Islands - what you gain in losing VAT you lose in extra delivery, if you follow my drift, so we don't change the published prices if under the 30kg. Over 30kg we deduct VAT but have to add the extra delivery which is usually more than the VAT. We will let you know the cost.

Export. We quote on an individual basis. As a guide items under 30kg can get to most of Europe for under GBP25.00

Time Scales

We try our best and get most items out within 24 hours on a next day service. Some come out from our storage depot and might take a day or so longer. Others are despatched direct from the manufactures/importers and are dependent on their time scales.

Allow a week in most cases and you will be pleasantly surprised. If timings are crucial please phone us!

Signatures are required by most carriers we use. If you are happy for your order to be left somewhere without giving one, please tell us in the comments box at the checkout as we need to tell the carriers in advance. They won't accept hindsight, unfortunately.
